Angimbé Relais’s in-house restaurant, Il
Carrubo...
...welcomes patrons from far and wide
but must tellingly, from surrounding towns in
the province of Trapani too. Specialising in original
Sicilian recipes going back centuries, guests
from far afield are guaranteed a new culinary
experience of the highest quality. You’ll
also find our wine list to be quite impressive,
featuring the best in artisan Sicilian produce
as well as some of the finer offerings from elsewhere
in Italy. The Angimbé Relais in house bar
and lounge, La Tavernetta di Gea, serves these
and various other refreshments well into the evening.

Italian
cuisine in general needs no introduction...
...though it’s ill-advised to stroll
around Sicily telling everybody how Italian they
are. This magical Mediterranean island has an
identity all of its own and, as with every region
of Italy, its very own food culture borne of the
land. A mixture of African and European earth,
fertile volcanic soil and the imports of 3000
years of visitors have combined to make Sicilian
produce a unique and fascinating entity. Most
of our ingredients are locally sourced too, so
you can be guaranteed of a true Sicilian experience!

Given
that Sicily is an island, you won’t be surprised...
...to hear that seafood accounts for a large portion
of this region’s food culture and with the
fishing town of Castellammare just 15 minutes
north of the Angimbé Relais you’ll
be guaranteed the pick of the Mediterranean at
Il Carrubo!
Please note that Il Carrubo Restaurant
is closed on Mondays.
